COG will headline the first ever ‘The Other Festival’ at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on February 13, 2021.
With dance floors back on the cards, the green light has been given for decent size headline shows to return and and now 12 months of ideas and brainstorming have manifested into this event.
COG said they were excited to be one of 16 bands from across Australia converging to present the festival.
“Huge sounds and epic visuals in a venue made for music,” they said.
“In short, some bloody good bands and some fucking good people coming together to celebrate live music, liberty and life.”
Doors will open at 2pm and crank through late into the evening, with two stages operating throughout the Fortitude Music Hall.
There’s the Roadsick Main Stage and The Faction Stage (in the Outpost Bar), with The Faction DJs holding the vibes down in between sets on the main stage, and Rock N Roll Yoga to expel the body of the bad juju that was 2020.
The Roadsick Main Stage sees COG and Wolf & Cub headline, with Redhook, Osaka Punch, Voyager, Hammers, Jay Brown, Total Pace & The Atomic Beau Project all in support.
The Faction Stage will host From Crisis To Collapse, Patient Lounge, Smoking Martha, These Four Walls, Being Jane Lane, Minds?End and Free The Genie.
The event is presented by Nobody Presents and is supported by Roadsick Apparel, Cate Pepper graphic design, The Faction, Collision Course PR and Groglords.
