In Hearts Wake have announced The Kaliyuga Australian Tour for March 2021, enlisting Thornhill, Gravemind and Drown This City as supports.
The tour will kick off at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on March 12 before moving to Sydney’s Manning Bar on March 13.
From there the bands will play Adelaide’s Lion Arts on March 25, Perth’s Magnet House on March 26 and finish with Brisbane’s The Tivoli on March 27.
In Hearts Wake said they were excited for heavy music to go live again.
“After all that’s happened this year we are stoked to finally announce some good news with some great bands,” they said.
“Cannot wait to play these new songs live for you and breathe some life back into the heavy music community.”
The band’s 2020 record Kaliyuga was inspired and bookended by the devastating fires that occurred in California and Australia throughout 2018 and 2019.
In the album’s cover art, an iconic ten-armed mother-goddess protects a baby in a gasmask.
The band want Kaliyuga to incite widespread positive action and break new ground in order to tackle the most pressing crises on the planet today.
