Tool fans will be ejected for phone use

Australian Tool concert goers will be ejected from shows if they are caught using their mobile phone.

Frontier Touring has made it clear on their website that the shows in February 2020 will have a strict no camera policy, which includes mobile phones.

The website states: “We respectfully request that ticket-holders please watch and listen to the show, not their phone.

“You will be ejected from the show without the opportunity to return and without a refund if you violate this simple request and elect to take photos during the performance.”

In the event of an emergency, patrons can use their phones on the concourse away from the performance area.

It is standard practice for many large venues and entertainers, and Tool have adopted this policy in the past.

Tool are performing the following shows:

  • Friday 14 February – RAC Arena, Perth
  • Monday 17 February – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney
  • Thursday 20 February – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
  • Saturday 22 February – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
